Lower Back Pain

Lower back pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal issues. In Australia, around 16% of people (approximately 4 million) are living with back problems, and between 70–90% of people will experience lower back pain at some point in their lives. Worldwide, in 2020 there were about 619 million people affected by lower back pain — and this number is projected to rise to about 843 million by 2050.

At our clinic, we start with a detailed assessment to identify what’s really causing your pain — whether it’s muscle tension, joint stiffness, poor posture, or repetitive strain. Treatment may include manual therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, dry needling, or mobility training to relieve pain and restore healthy movement.

Beyond that, we look at the bigger picture: your work setup, lifting technique, and daily habits — because recurrence is common (many people experience further episodes), and taking a proactive approach reduces future flare-ups.
